Yog Sothoth vs Vitiate

Vitiate as of the Revan Novel. Fight takes place in the Dark Temple.

I'm pretty sure Lovecraft monsters should wreck, but for the sake of it, what feats/accolades does Yog Sothoth have?

The cube and sphere, of three dimensions, are thus cut from corresponding forms of four dimensions that men know only through guesses and dreams; and these in turn are cut from forms of five dimensions, and so on up to the dizzy and reachless heights of archetypal infinity.
It was an All-in-One and One-in-All of limitless being and self, not merely a thing of one Space-Time continuum, but allied to the ultimate animating essence of existence’s whole unbounded sweep; the last, utter sweep which has no confines and which outreaches fancy and mathematics alike. It was perhaps that which certain secret cults of earth have whispered of as YOG-SOTHOTH.

This is probably a really close fight, tbh.

Bumpedo. 🙂

Everybody and his mom is better then Valkorion in your opinion. 🙄

What are your thoughts, LeG?

And Valkorion is better than everybody and their mom in your opinion. 👆

Lovecraft shitstomps Star Wars and the after effects kill Star Trek too, Colonel O'niell chills out watching from the aptly named O'niell starship.

Yog Sothoth is literally everything, and yet also exists beyond everything. He's a true omniscient and nigh omnipotent. Like I said, this is a close fight. 🙂

Never said that. 🙄

No, but you clearly demonstrate it. I also never said I think everybody's above Valkorion, and I've actually debated for him before. Also, we're talking about ****ing Lovecraft characters here. Trying to call other people out for bias because a damn Lovecraft character would stomp them is hilarious.

For that matter, why are you of all people calling anybody out for bias? You're at the absolute bottom of the ladder in terms of objectivity.

Yog Sothoth is too much of an unknown to make a judgement.

Every lore and its mom shitstomps Star Wars according to you. 🙄

When concrete evidence of superiority of a being is presented, I fully acknowledge it (e.g. Goku). My preferences do not cloud my judgement.

I prefer not to get involved in majority of (fantasy) hypothetical contests but I am interested in assessing where Valkorion stands in the grand scheme of things at times.

I have yet to witness your arguments in favor of Valkorion in any debate.

Lovecraft characters would stomp because they are Lovecraft characters? What kind of logic is this? I understand your love for everything Lovecraft but no need to be a fanatic.

It takes you a disappointingly long time to recognize Vitiate's blatant superiors. Also, your "preference" is hardly restricted to Valkorion. You employ all sorts of double standards in order to wank TOR characters but are unwilling to do the same for others. That you're infamous on this board for your undying love for SWTOR should tell you something in spite of your objections.

The grand scheme of... what? All fiction?

That's your failing, not mine. And my activity is hardly restricted to this board.

Who said I loved Lovecraft? I was asking to be reminded of Yog Sothoth's feats earlier in this thread. I haven't even read Lovecraft's works. But I've engaged in debates involving Lovecraft characters many times over the years, with both reliable and unreliable users. Nevertheless, anybody who's gleaned any information about the likes of Yog Sothoth, Azathoth etc. are well aware that they'd butcher anybody in SW. That's my point. Lovecraftian cosmics (or whatever you want to call them) are simply an entire order beyond anything SW has ever presented. That's what makes this obviously troll matchup horribly one-sided.

Because it's true, Star Wars doesn't do well against most IPs, the Yuuzhan Vong causing so much shit for the combined known galaxy isn't a very good sign when Vong would get roflstomped by something like Tyranids or the Flood.

The Imperium vs Empire thread is one of the few exceptions.

... Seriously, what the f*ck?

To paraphrase: Azathoth is TOAA, and Yog Sothoth is LT, only even more powerful.
