How does Manhattan hurt Reeves Superman?

The way Reeves superman used super vision to repair the Great Wall of china .... Oh brother, good luck destroying him with his PIS and hyperbole power set.

^ Haha yeah but in the same film a scratch from Nuclear Man almost killed him. And in Superman 3 he needed to dodge the rockets being fired at him, and a Missile KO'd him.

But didn't he also survive like a hydrogen bomb or something?

Don't remember. Was some sort of special Missile though that KO'd him. But wasn't laced with Kryptonite or anything.

Could of sworn he took a bomb that showed more power output then movie Manhattan ever did. The guy vaporized tanks and normal humans.

He takes a Nuclear Bomb into space in Superman 2, and it explodes just as he throws it away. So he tanks that, but it wasn't point blank, he was just caught in the shockwave.

I think the feat I'm thinking of is from the shittiest of the films(4th one).
