Problem with the Elite is also they have so few showings.

The Hat's rune field protects him from all physical harm - Chester's words.

Do we attribute ALL harm? Then it would be an endless stalemate, lol, until Chester tries something.

the hat is dangerous in this because he was so vaguely portrayed. his powers were a plot device. the force field is so rarely used i was under the impression standard matches with juggs didn't even allow for it. i thought that had become a forum rule. if he has it, they bfr him 10/10. if he doesn't, the helmet is ripped off and he's turned into a veggie by black alone. if it's forum juggs and no bfr, it becomes a stalemate i guess..... juggs threads are fun. 👆

When Superman stopped holding back, the fight was over. They are fighting against a character that could power through their attacks and have no problem holding back.

Who also has a TPweakness and is dumb as hell.

nope, not really. at all. when he thought black murdered lois he still didn't break out of the mind trap--and he was fighting to kill for most of that battle.....

as far as when supes took out the elite--he used his superspeed to do it. cain is about as slow as anyone can be....

hell, black's tk alone was enough to challenge superman, which would mean he is certainly strong enough to smack cain around for most of the fight. if this is forum juggs who ooc has a force field up for the whole fight in some inexplicable way, then it's a stalemate. if not, he loses this every single time to black alone, no elite needed. hell, i'd need to see some proof that the force field prevents tk from even working tbh. it stops physical hits but kurt has ported to him directly numerous times, so does anyone even know for sure the shield would keep out a tk attack on the helmet? mags was even able to affect kurrth.

When he had his field up, a novice Marvel Girl was able to affect him with TK.

Chester is comfortably above that, AND he's an absolute bastard to boot. He won't pussyfoot around like she did.

He's not, but he can jump pretty far and high if he wants to. It's not some unique ability only the Hulk has 😛

I'm not saying he can't, just saying, IMO, that it won't be the game changer. Like Digi said, this matchup is not ideal for Cain. If you could hand pick a group of 4 to face Cain, you'd pick a team that doesn't play to his strengths. The Elite is such a team, although Menagerie is the weak link in this thread. Besides, she reminds me of my ex-wife! 😱
