Apocalypse vs Imhotep

Which superpowered near-immortal ancient Egyptian comes out on top.

Occurred to me that Fox Apocalypse's stone/concrete manipulation wouldn't work on Imhotep since he can turn himself into sand.

Apoc turns the sand into concrete.

Apoc convinces Imhotep to work for him ...

Imhotep turns into a sandstorm.

Apocalypse turns that sandstorm into a new pyramid for himself.

Imhotep

Imhotep can turn himself into sand.

Apocalypse manipulates matter (such as sand).

Seems a bit imbalanced to me.

How?

Imhotep also had control over water and wind.

Didn't Imhotep move the moon?

No

It can most certainly be seen that way. But I'm unsure after all his return was heralded by the plagues of egypt all over, so I'm unsure if it's the curse blacking out the sun or if it's Imhotep using his power to accomplish it.

He coughed up the bugs as a plague, why wouldn't he do the others? Maybe I'm just mis-remembering

Imhotep displayed a lot more raw power. I think the only feat Apoc has that was more impressive were his shields. Other than that, I'd say Imhotep wins.

Lulz
Apoc easily leveled most of a city under seconds.

Apoc turns him into concrete.

Can you quantify this statement?
