Darth Revan and Malak vs. Revan 3.0

Team.

Don't know how good Darth Revan is, but I imagine the gap between that iteration and the KotOR one wouldn't have been too big. The team definitely takes the second round, and probably the first as well.

I guess he means SoR Revan?

If so, Revan.

Team, and it's not all that close.

Considering it took Marr, Satele, Theron, Vizla and TOR Protag to stop SoR Revan, Darth Malak and Revan don't really match up.

Darth Revan alone should be close enough to SOR Revan that his apprentice who's just as, if not even more powerful, should tip the scales and then some. The lack of feats in DR's part hardly implies absence of ability. 👆

Malak and Bastila both state that end-game KOTOR Revan is far above Darth Revan. Then he becomes even more powerful when he's reborn and becomes even more powerful by SoR. So powerful to the point that it took that strike team to hope to defeat him.

Satele, Marr, Vizla, Beniko and post-Act III Protag > Darth Revan and Darth Malak.

No they don't.

That really just shows how terrible everyone in that team is rather than how 1337 Revan is in 3.0.

That's right. When you don't agree with Neph's placement of TOR characters, you're trying hard.

Post Act 3 protag isn't terrible, but compared to Revan, they are. And the rest of the team is terrible compared to the TOR Protag.

Compared to SoR Revan, so are Darth Revan and Darth Malak.

SOR Revan takes it.

2v1's don't work like basic addition, just because Revan didn't double in power doesn't mean he can't take two people of that power level.

@Petrus: No, because SOR Revan is Novel Revan with more intensity and half a brain. Darth Revan isn't behind Novel Revan by any significant stretch of the imagination, and is more like SOR Revan than anything. I just don't see much reason for any incarnation of Revan to be all that superior to another, and Karpyshyn further backs this up. 👆

@Sel: you'd have to be assuming that the gap between Darth Revan and SOR Revan is, like, bigger than the gap between Vader and Maul. And if so...😬
