Based on what feats, beating Scourge (lol) and an inhibited Meetra on a powerful dark side nexus?
Qui Gon was one of the greatest warriors of all time, stalemating Windu in sparring matches and putting up a fight against Maul when he was past his prime. He was highly esteemed in the prime of the Jedi.
By way of feats, Meetra was able to fight through the surface and Trayus Academy on Malachor V, beat down Sion multiple times, and defeat/kill Traya at the heart of her power. Traya was not only Revan's favored teacher, but was demonstrably hilariously above the surviving members of the Jedi High Council. Scourge in the Novel was implied to be Meetra's equal, and even assuming he wasn't, the disparity isn't shown to be vast by any means.
Nyriss jumps in between the two and is still too fast for them to hope to keep up with her in sabers. She completely and utterly outclasses both Meetra and Scourge. Even if they were on a DS nexus:
A: Scourge would be amped too.
B: Meetra has dealt with much worse, as evidenced in KOTOR 2.
Nyriss's power in the force is so great that she's capable of incinerating Meetra and Scourge with her FLS, knocking Meetra on her ass with a bolt of lightning, and ashing herself with her FLS despite erecting a force barrier. This level of power is much greater than that of, say, Count Dooku, as far as lightning is concerned. The above is more impressive than merely sparring with Windu, (lol) and dying to Maul who IIRC had a broken shin or ankle or something to that effect. Also, wasn't the sparring with Windu quote revealed as fake/nonexistent anyways?
Ultimately, Nyriss is at least just as effective, (and possibly more effective,) a swordsman as Qui Gon, and a demonstrably and thematically more powerful force user. She's spent her whole life delving into the secrets of Sith Sorcery, and her standing on the Dark Council marks her as one of the 12 most powerful sith in the galaxy and implies access to the highest levels/forms of knowledge the Sith Empire had to offer.

Which you yourself have downplayed, given that these academy sith have the impressive feat of...losing to Meetra.
Also Meetra was weakened when she fought Nyriss. 👆
beat down Sion multiple times,
Whose most relevant combat feat is losing to Meetra.
and defeat/kill Traya at the heart of her power. Traya was not only Revan's favored teacher, but was demonstrably hilariously above the surviving members of the Jedi High Council.
What did those Jedi council members do? What has Traya done? Her best feat, her drain, doesn't work on Meetra, kek.
Scourge in the Novel was implied to be Meetra's equal, and even assuming he wasn't, the disparity isn't shown to be vast by any means.
He evidently isn't, given that he doesn't do anything to help in the fight.

Scourge is featless except for struggling against some droid factory.
B: Meetra has dealt with much worse, as evidenced in KOTOR 2.
Against nameless sith. 👆
Nyriss's power in the force is so great that she's capable of incinerating Meetra and Scourge with her FLS,
She charged it.
knocking Meetra on her ass with a bolt of lightning, and ashing herself with her FLS despite erecting a force barrier.
That just speaks to her power relative to her defenses, lol.
This level of power is much greater than that of, say, Count Dooku, as far as lightning is concerned.
Dooku incapacitated TCW Anakin with his lightning.
and dying to Maul who IIRC had a broken shin or ankle or something to that effect.
Maul's injury soak is greater than Sion's, I don't think that would matter much. And the two were going at it relatively evenly on Tatooine. And this is Qui Gon past his prime.
Also, wasn't the sparring with Windu quote revealed as fake/nonexistent anyways?
mmm I can't find it, so I guess I won't use it. That hardly matters - his ability to perform so well against Darth Maul is impressive enough.

LMAO, did you just use Nyriss's status on the counterpart to the Jedi Council as an argument for her superiority over Qui Gon? A dark council that had...who, on it, again? 😆 I guess Ki-adi Mundi is above Dooku, right?
-----------------------------------------------------
Qui-Gon is on the same tier as TPM Darth Maul. This same Maul is "one of the deadliest sith apprentices in history", being confirmed as a legitimate potential sucessor to the Banite line, being able to walk through Force lightning, etc. Qui-Gin himself was able to humble Anoon Bondara in combat, the same Anoon who was considered to be one of the greatest blademasters in the prime of the Jedi Order, and out of its whole 25,000 year history.
Let's compare him to the badass "Scourge" (and an inhibited Meetra) that Nyriss bested. Scourge not only struggles against droid factories, but was completely unremarkable at this time in the sith empire - nobody knew him, he was scared of fighting anyone on the dark council, he held no significant leadership positions - his best accolade is that he was at the top of his class in his academy and intimidated some lightsaber instructors, .ie, Sirak-tier. And this is a sith empire that at the time has Vitiate and...and...nobody else of note. There's no indication that this guy is even as good as TPM Obi Wan, let alone Anoon Bondara, let alone Qui-Gon.
Nyriss has done nothing of note. I guess you could argue that we have a hard time pinpointing an upper limit on her abilities beyond being far below Revan, but probabilistically speaking it's unlikely given the body of evidence we have for her and her apparent lack of any distinction in the history of the Star Wars literature that she is on Jinn's level.
