Peopel should be more kinder to mental deficient children

I don't agree with the 2nd link and writing to tell them to euthanize the kid, but I can almost sympathize with the person who wrote the letter from the first link. You see this mother says the neighbor should of just come and talked to her about it or whatever.
The problem is even if you do that in the nicest possible manner possible it is still possible you will be lambasted as not being sensitive, not caring enough about disabled people, etc.
