FPS campaigns
Within the last gen, and up to the current. Which fps type games have campaigns that are actually fun to play, instead of simply being there as a training mode for pvp?
I'm looking for games you could enjoy single style, without even touching online mode. Doom or Crysis, for two examples.
-The new Wolfenstein is pretty good and it's "expansion" pack.
-The Metro series is very good especially Last Light.
-Call of Juarez: Gunslinger and Bound in Blood are nice, below the radar type Western shooters.
-The Darkness 2 is good.
-Syndicate was quite fun as well.
-Crysis 2 is awesome especially if you wanted Crysis to be a bit more tighter.
-Singularity is a cool and neat rip-off of Bioshock.
-Medal Of Honor if your looking for something Call of Duty-ish but with less explosions.
-You can check out the STALKER series, especially Call of Pripyat. I would check out the Complete mod for that series for bug fixes, improvements and such.
-Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising is cool if you want something realistic. You need to be in a certain type of mood for it though.
And the usual.
- FEAR series (just play FEAR and Project Origins)
- Crysis Warhead and Crysis 3 are weaker but still pretty fun
- Resistance 3 is much better than previous games.
- Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite
- Far Cry 3 and 4.
