Movie Wolverine held his own against a master swordsman he was able to defeat Sabretooth when he got his adamantium where before that Sabretooth that the advantage strength wise. Wolverine showed incredible damage when he had a much slower healing factor. Wolverine did get blindsided by the atomic bomb and then withstood the fire in the fall out shelter.

Relatively speaking, Winter Soldier is the new guy on the block and as such has recieved a good amount of hype (and admittedly some of it is deserved; the action sequences featuring him are awesome), but I think its time to set the hierarchy straight...
He's good, but not at the top of the food chain as pertains hand to hand combat; some of the older characters (like Wolverine) still have him beat...
I think some here needed to be reminded of that...
