Revun in good fight
I don't see a large difference between Revan from the KotOR ending and the version from Dromund Kaas. If anything, the imprisonment, the drugs, and stuff, should make novel Revan worse, and he didn't have that much time and sources to really improve there.
That being sad, how he stomped Nyriss was one-time only. I doubt you will normally have Nyriss taking the time to channel the most powerful Lightning possible, Revan emerging to actually not be helpless half-dead prisoner, and all that jazz. In a normal fight it won't be like that.

If I'm honest, i don't see how memories make him more powerful.Maybe he remembered how to use some old powers but what else could they do lol
It's likely dredging up the old techniques that he learned, agreed. But, as Beni said, the memories likely acted as a catalyst for him to access the well of knowledge and mastery he had as a Sith Lord. It provided him a greater understanding of the Force and most likely a greater capacity to use it as a result.
It is silly though. I can agree to that.
