How powerful is Marka Ragnos, REALLY?

All the fluctuations are either that Ragnos really is an All-Powerful Ancient Sith Lord, or that he's just a featless hack.

So far there's been no in-between, so here you can discuss how powerful he really is.

Furthermore, how much legitimacy is there in the hype that surrounds the Ancient Sith Lord?
