General Grievous vs Vitiate

Who wins and why?

Valkorion blasts him with Lightning and kills him.

What about lightsabers only?

Valkorion isn't really much of a saber user if I remember correctly, so he gets destroyed pretty quick.

Grievous stomps in sabers and gets absolutely roflstomped in everything else.

Grievous's best shot is to toss a saber, extend a limb or otherwise take advantage of the poor reflexes Vitiate showed in the Revan novel, and then blitz him up close.

LOL, Grevious doesn't register to a Sidious-leveler.

Vitiate can murder him completely instantly without acknowledging his existance with the Force and in all out, and roflstomps Grievous in a second in saber fight.

Sure, Vitiate never used a lightsaber extensively, and I imagine he can just perform simplest parries and stabs, but his Force power makes his reflexes, movement speed, strength, perception, beyond anyone in the mythos. Besides guys like prime Anakin who benefit from actual training and personal skill mixed with perception/speed/etc allowing them to somehow react and not be killed by sheer speed... pretty much nobody can defeat Vitiate in a duel, if he choses to wield a weapon.

He's obviously Plagueis/TPM Sidious tier by the novel and ROTS Sidious tier by SWTOR, then DE Sidious tier as Valkorion.

Yeah, pretty much, though I basically have it a lever higher in the table of yours.

Pre-KotOR Vitiate ~ TPM Palpatine/Plagueis
Novel Vitiate ~ RotS Palpatine/Yoda
SWTOR Vitiate ~ DE Palpatine
Valkorion - not comparable to real entities (Son, etc.) in the slightest, but not comparable to any mortal either, inbetween

Yoda says that ESB Luke is a "luminous being", TUF Luke didn't seem to be physically present when he was fighting, Sidious is a dark side nexus.

Every Force sensitive is kinda a nexus, since the Force flow focuses inside Force sensitives. Palpatine is immensely powerful beyond belief, and he is obviously truly a living Force nexus inside a person, but that's still nowhere near the power of Valkorion.

It doesn't mean Palpatine is in shit-world and Valkorion godstomps him. Palpatine is the pinnacle of what mortal being can be. Valkorion is just above that.

He says Force users in general are luminous beings. 😬
