What is wrong with that reasoning? He consciously called upon the Force to a Oneness extent when facing Abeloth, why couldn't he here, when he needs to and is facing multiple threats to the Galaxy?

So you're saying Luke is basically invincible when the galaxy is at stake?

I'm saying he did a move against Abeloth that made him super powerful, and there's no reason to think it was unrepeatable. It was a conscious decision rather than some externally driven emotional state.
