Obama $2.2 billion Puerto Rican Bail Out

Obama just bailed out Puerto Rico and wrote them a $2 billion dollar check.

Good job Obama, keep giving our money away.

You realize Puerto Rico isn't a foreign country, right?

You do realize how stupid you sound, right?

Go ahead and explain why we have to bail them out?

How much tax revenue do they add to our system?

😂

To be fair didn't he have to do something? With the UK voting to leave the EU, the democrats ownage on gun control, Obama's immigration plan being b*tch slapped down, and his BS regarding the Orlando shooting and the need to blame us and everyone else except Islam..he needed to do SOMETHING that could be construed as a win by some people.

If the John Oliver video is to be believed, then PR was owed some help.

How about we fix the problem instead of writing hot checks.

Yea so funny how a win is viewed in the eyes of socialism. Let's just take care of everyone, why we at it lets have Japan keep ripping us off in trade while they conduct national surveillance on Muslims too.

Isn't Puerto Rico a US territory? I don't know much about it but I thought it's basically a non-state territory or something, and thus US money going to it is just, kinda normal?

I mean I could be wrong about it's legal status but I thought it was affiliated with the US in some way.

You're right, it's a territory. The outrage in this thread is silly.

Stupid threads like this are why I've lost interest in this forum.

Just another day in the life of Time-Immemorial.

Your not getting it and neither is omega, but you both are liberals so I understand.

The problem is bailing everyone else out but the US middle class, our crumbling infrastructure and not encouraging new economic policies to prevent this from happening again.

It's simply over your head to understand what is going on and why a bailout for everyone is the wrong move.

As for the forum, I hear more and more about your pouting. When is it official you are leaving? At this point it's just a pathetic constant whine.

Yea how about we write a $2 billion check for roads, bridges, airports and high speed rail? What a original idea. We still can't get a high speed rail in this county yet Japan who has become rich off America has them circling the country.

I agree there are problems to be addressed with Puerto Rico. Apparently they can't even vote.

I am not trying to bash the website, but I always find it curious when people bash this part of the forum..in the sense that I don't see many forums here that are bastions of good threads. While at the same time some can't stay away and even those who stop posting can still be seen lurking here occasionally.
