Where does it say Maul is the "third greatest duelist of all time"? I have a book that says he would be defeated by Kit Fisto.
I doubt he would lose to Fisto tbh regardless of what the book says, although there isn't much shame in that. Fisto is probably the fastest duelist in the order apart from Yoda. He forces General Grievous backwards into defense for gods sake!

Who says he was toying? Is this an excuse we can use for any character now?
With those inquisitors. If he can just all of a sudden force choke the seventh sister towards the end, he could've done it earlier. He was also doing a lot of kicking and shit instead of trying to kill em.

No, Fisto isn't the second fastest. Kenobi, Skywalker, and Windu are all faster. Also, Freshest, stop bringing up that disgrace of a list.
He was quicker than Kenobi, they sparred and were matching each other with speed, Fisto was holding back (Kenobi admitted him being superior). Fisto was Described as a martial arts hurricane, I would've thought he was quicker than Skywalker and Windu. They seem a lot more strength oriented, overwhelming with strength whereas Fisto does it with speed

He was faster than AotC Kenobi. Kenobi grew vastly in power and speed. And no. Speed is generally dependent on one's command of the Force.
And this:
"Kit accelerated into a blur of motion complex and rapid enough to baffle even Obi-Wan’s experienced gaze."
Mace Windu:
"And even hurt, lurching drunkenly, Vaster still could whip his arms in blindingly fast raking slaps at Mace’s head and wounded neck. But where Vastor’s speed was blinding, Mace’s was invisible. Not one of those slaps connected. Before Vastor could even focus his eyes, Mace had hit him six times: two thundering hooks to his short ribs, a knee slamming hard into the same thigh he’d hit before, an elbow snapping up to the point of his chin, and two devastating palm strikes to either hinge of his jaw." --Shatterpoint

Anakin Skywalker:
“Skywalker was all over him. The shining blue lightsaber whirled and spat and every overhand chop crashed against Dooku’s defense with the unstoppable power of a meteor strike; the Sith Lord spent lavishly of his reserve of the Force merely to meet these attacks without being cut in half, and Skywalker was getting stronger. Each parry cost Dooku more power than he’d used to throw Kenobi across the room; each block aged him a decade. He decided he’d best revise his strategy once again. He no longer even tried to strike back. Force exhaustion began to close down his perceptions, drawing his consciousness back down to his physical form, trapping him within his own skull until he could barely even feel the contours of the room around him; he dimly sensed stairs at his back, stairs that led up to the entrance balcony. He retreated up them, using the higher ground for leverage, but Skywalker just kept on coming, tirelessly ferocious. That blue blade was everywhere, flashing and whirling faster and faster until Dooku saw the room through an electric haze and now Kenobi was back in the picture: with a shout of the Force, he shot like a torpedo up the stairs behind Skywalker, and Dooku decided that under these rather extreme circumstances, it was at least arguably permissible for a gentleman to cheat." --Revenge of the Sith
Wrath and Malgus would have to be above Vader to be beating Obi-Wan handily, especially in sabers. The same goes for Maul.
Malgus shouldn't be anywhere near that - he's inferior to Vader and falls to Maul. The Wrath wouldn't be above Malgus by much. I doubt Obi-Wan can win just because he doesn't seem to have much offensive capacity by this point, but he can still hold his own defensively against either of them.
But I agree that team 2 should be taking Force.
