Not always since there are bad apples, but it's hardly the epidemic some have made it out to be.
It disgusts me because it delegitimizes actual cases of police corruption. look at Ferguson. There was a massive protest against the DOJ-Proven corruption of their police department, but the corruption aspect gets ignored because the inciting incident of the protests was the death of Michael Brown, a violent thug who was justifiably killed after trying to fight cops. A worthy cause against proven corruption was soiled because the race card was abused to make Brown look innocent when he wasnt.

So this is what it's come to in response to school violance? We're criminalizing perfectly normal acting out from kids now? (Which isn't the same as saying bad behavior should be tolerated, but why involve police?)
