I think a distinction should be made between rituals and combat situations here.

I might be impressed by someone who can multiply big numbers in their heads even though I have a calculator that can do it within a fraction of a second. It's not the same thing lol.

Dorsk harnessed power of far greater magnitude, and Bane's ritual was likely more advanced, and therefore safer. Although, there's admittedly no hard evidence to support that claim, and it's entirely based on my own supposition.

Either way, it's besides the point. The point is that what is accomplished through the combined powers of a group isn't indicative of what can be accomplished by the powers of an individual.
