Irek Ismaren took up the mantle of Lord Nyax, but who is he really?

The way he's described looks kinda like Palpatine, but they also called Darth Vader Nyax because of his abduction of force-sensitive children.

Nyax was just a mythological folktale to scare children.

You'll find that every piece of folklore has been based on something within the real world.

Except Nyax wasn't really based on anyone. He was just a made up character by parents, as a type of bogeyman.

Yes, but the parents also described his appearance.

And? They could just also make that up.

Thats not how folklore works. Even the boogeyman was based off something, and he doesnt even have an appearance.

Yeah. Based off of the notion of a bad person, not some central figure or the other.
