Never. That's the thing about our current system. Things are not as great as they should be, but they are good enough that most people are able to live comfortable. So people aren't going to sacrifice and martyr their comfortable good life for a possibly better great one. They are too used to being comfortable under the current system to abandon it for a better one.More specifically, let's just be honest here, people are not going to riot in the streets, which would really be the only effective way to change things. As our current election shows, voters really have zero power at the booth, so there is no way that we can legally change things. That means the only alternative is illegal tactics such as protests and civil unrest, and most people are too comfortable with their lives to risk going to jail or a grave.
It's all about complacency.
Thanks for the feedback. You might just be right, and if you are, that would make most of us the cowardly sheep that they see us as. We have more power as a whole than just illegal tactics. We are the components of the system, without us the system can't thrive. By simply taking a stand and sticking to it, non violently says and does much more damage than it would rasing hell in the streets.
