How is it in your area?

Here in CT, it's pretty spotty. Cell phone coverage was pretty big news after hurricane katrina, with reports of people being stuck under cars and no signal.

I get dropped signals all the time. Drive ten miles in any direction, and watch the bars jump all over the place.

I kind of miss pay phones. At least they were dependable.

It's fine by me unless I'm in my basement then sometimes I do miss calls that do not come in.

In Germany it varies a lot. In major cities it's good, but my village sucks for reception.
