Blade vs Deathstroke (Pre-52)

Standard equipment. Fight takes place in Brooklyn at midnight.

Slade. Easily.

This is a very even fight.

Before flashpoint? Blade edges out 6/10 fights with serious difficulty.

Blade has both strength and a healing factor Slade can only dream about.

He's lacking in both departments, actually...

Had a nice regen feat in "Blavengers", though. When he got eviscerated as Ronin.

Blade is a 1 tonner I believe in handbooks.

As a fan of the character I wish he had more strength feats.

And Wolverine is a >800Ibs-er, according to handbooks. Yet he has broken out of countless handcuffs, shackles, restraints, chains, etc.

And Blade failed to break normal handcuffs haermm

What I meant was, 1 ton doesn't even sound impressive to me by itself.

Cap for example ripped that statue out of the ground while he was chained to it. That was definitely a multi-ton feat.

So I wish Blade had more feats like that.

And Wolverine by feats is well above an 800 lber too. Like the time he was moving around and climbing with a piano tied to his back.

I know. And yeah, it doesn't. Always thought they'd rate him at least as Class 2, post-Morbius bite.

Paladin is a 1-tonner, too. But, for his (very) limited appearances, he actually has nice feats.

I remember the statue feat. Best one from Blade I can think of right now is lifting that big demon/mutant vamp or whatever it was.

Could you post that feat?

He used a f*cking tree as a club, too. Has many feats well over 800 pounds.

Deathstroke 6-7/10. Good fight though. I think Slade has an edge in tactics, skills, and equipment (ranged weapons like his staff and his guns)

Blade looked really good against spitfire in Mi-13

That he did. Stroke has nice showing against speedsters himself, though. Poor Flash, he never learns.

In RL? Sure it should.

In MU? Probably not, the Hulk weighs a mere half a ton... at his best.

That thing is a lot bigger than Hulk.
