This is a dumb thread. How do we expect Steve and Bucky to hurt liquid metal? Is the match conveniently placed in a smelting factory or something?

Besides, shouldnt such walking personifications of chaos be able to defeat two lowly T-1000's without much problem?

Afterall a significant number of characters from the lesser Mutant-verse would crush the T-1000's without much problem, so why cant Cap and Bucky?

Also just to answer a dumb question, Cap and Bucky can only rely on physical force. Even Bucky's explosives will only delay a T-1000. That's like putting them up against a pool of water and expecting them to punch it out.
