Aquaman (2018)

72% on RT. Only a few reviews in right now, but can tell it wont be as universally liked/praised as Wonder Woman. The competition (Bumblebee and Spiderverse) are looking better review wise as well.

Yeah theres defo mixed responses coming in. So it will do well to stay above 70% on RT.

But still thats a good score and most reviewers are saying its the 2nd best DCEU film after Wonder Woman. The ones who loved MOS are placing this as the 3rd best.

I'm surprised, but pleasantly, that Bumblebee is getting such positive reviews.

Oh I cant wait to watch Bumblebee and Into the Spider Verse.

AquaMamoa isnt as high on my must watch list tbh.

This was a solid AF film. It's not even a superhero movie, IMO. It's basically a high-fantasy adventure, which happens to be set in a world with Superman. It does try to cram a bit much in, which results in a few moments of clunk, but overall I'd say it's a 4/5.

Ok not coming back into this thread until I see it. Cannot wait to see if I was right.

In China tonight, #AquamanAquaman_2018.png is finishing up its first full week at the #boxoffice with roughly $135M in 7 days. It's now on course to beat the $155.8M 10-day start that #CaptainAmerica #CivilWar had there on its way to a $191M final in 2016. Incredible opening week.

Ludicrous. Cap>Batman and Superman by your logic. Wait till we tallytje final numbers vs. civil war.

Looking at 85-90 this weekend in China. Strong pre-sales already.

It's in the mid 70's. Should be certified fresh, unless a slew of negatives come in.

Not only this, but China's, Taiwan's, and Brazil's WOM is extremely high. It's already a crowd pleasure.

Seeing this Saturday. Hope its good.

Not till Thursday. My bet is on the best of the dceu beating out WW.
