Nice thread. The chances of Wyyrlok defeating Exar Kun by himself is very low, but he's strong enough in every area to compete; with the support of two powerful Sith, assuming they're well coordinated, he could very well prevail... Then again, if they don't play their cards well, this is just another Claws of the Dragon situation where the weaker two are quickly taken down and the boss follows shortly thereafter.
He tricked Streen into attacking Luke, corrupted Gantoris with real images from events on Eol Sha, showed Corran Horn illusions so realistic that despite knowing the images weren't real Horn was still overwhelmed by them, was convincing Luke that he was Anakin until Luke saw that it wasn't a Force ghost.
With Kyp Durron:
And then the haunting voice of Exar Kun rose to a wail in his mind, an utterly forlorn scream as if he were being torn out of this universe and exiled to another place entirely, where he could torment Kyp Durron no more. Kyp snapped backward in his control seat as if an invisible tow cable had been severed. His arms and head dangled like a puppet with suddenly snipped strings. The cool wind of freedom whistled through his mind and body. He blinked his eyes and shuddered with revulsion at what he had been about to do.

Having a threat means there's less attention to pay to them, though.Nihl's actually got a history of shooting strong people in the back.
But that threat isn't lasting long at all in a contest with Kun, Nihl and Talon can be choked out whilst he fights Wyyrlok. He's shown that level of multi-tasking before.

He's supposed to block sorcery that gave Krayt pause *while* choking out two Hands? Choking out being something that itself takes time, so if he's doing that Wyyrlok can throw his best stuff.
Exar Kun's strong no doubt, but I'm pretty sure he'd have to chose between those tasks.

He was choking out a far stronger and more numerous team than this, in a far lass powerful state. 😬
