Are Storm Troopers the worst foot soldiers in fiction?

As the title says. Are Storm Troopers, the worst foot soldiers in the history of fiction? They lost to teddy bears, and couldn't hit water if they fail out of a boat --- so, it's certainly a possibility, if not a probability.

No. B1 battle droids make Stormtroopers look damn right competent.

First Order Stormtroopers are pretty good.

Not as good as the Clone Troopers, imo, but pretty good.

But they [the droids] were made to be that way. The crux of the Seperatist plan to was overwhelm with numbers, not quality. Storm Troopers go through rigorous training, and still blow.

It isn't that Stormtroopers are that bad it is just that Star Wars Main Characters have that good of Plot Armor.

Stormtroopers aim is always shat on, but they are actually quite accurate in the movies. What with Old Ben commenting on tuskens not being accurate enough to make those shots and scout troopers landing shots on hoverbikes while trees whip by in a blur, I'd say their bad rep is kind of unwarranted.

Their aim was only atrocious when they were told to let the main chars escape.

Pretty sure the Republic Military from KotOR is the weakest in the entire mythos.

Zenwolf can spam quotes like an ejaculating steed till the end of time. It is however, mostly down to how they're depicted in the movies. If then, you follow that line of thought, and you still think they're depicted poorly in the films, then that is case closed.

That and take into acct that when Luke and the Gang escaped from the 1st Death Star, the ST's were under orders to LET them Escape, hence an explanation for all the missage.

Don't really need to spam quotes, as the movies clearly show them as a fighting force. If people can't see that, that's their problem, I'm getting tired of pointing out the obvious.
