maxima can control metal and she threatened to shred his armor and i believe she could have done so, easily. this version of atom is very different from the standard one though but i think he was still coated in protective liquid metal. if so mags would tear it apart easily. given some of the feats of this atom though he might be able to recreate it, or maybe it wasn't the weakness it was for the standard version? i'm not very familiar with 52 atom but standard atom would not fare well against mags. /shrug

FS was treated pretty uber, especially when they combine their powers to merge the Fury (Trans level being).
Magneto has never faced anyone quite like CA. Someone who can time travel, has FTL speeds, manipulate matter, energy, and time.

DCnU CA has two forms, energy-being form which is pure energy
later on he has evolved form, evolved form has metallic armor around him. mag got no chance ripping his suit if that's what you are wondering

He has complete control over his own body structure. Quantum manipulation>>>magnetic manipulation, plus being infinitely faster and stronger.
Mag is gonna die before he can do anything, Atom is FTL and mag reaction is only around 14 times of normal human.
