C.A.P. vs. Hellbat

The Conserve And Protect ("CAP"๐Ÿ˜‰ Robot:

VS.

Hellbat:

What has Cap and the F4 Mechs accomplished?

CAP was built to track down, and defeat, the most powerful beings on the planet. Its best feat was stomping this team of heroes:

*Note that Sentry was among the defeated. ๐Ÿ˜‰

As its name denotes: the Anti-Galactus Suit was built to combat/detour Galactus himself. The *strong* implication is that it was the only force on Marvel earth capable of stopping CAP(which it accomplished with one-shot, btw.)

So it's beyond omniversal? I don't see how anything can defeat that short of TOAA IMO ๐Ÿ˜•

I have no real opinion here. I barely read anything these days so I don't know anything

You raise a good point... mmm

CAP wins.

Bruce burns out, anyway

I'm not fond of offpanel showings becomes to questionable.

If it is show him standing over bodies I would he won just my opinio .

There were no extenuating circumstances or whathaveyou -- CAP legitimately beat the heroes outright. It was just that powerful. This was confirmed several times in the comics.

...That is one of the reasons why everyone was so awestruck by CAP's power, and opted to fight it with the Anti-Galactus Suit as a final resort.

Issues?

F4 #555-557.

Did Hellbat ever end up fighting Darkseid? I never finished the arc.

It did.

It lasted a bit, but Bruce was dying inside the suit. He just needed it to last until DS fired his beams, IIRC. IOW, it was specially prepped for him.

Hmm. Sounds circumstantial, but standing up to Darkseid is still pretty impressive. I guess it depends on how you'd rate Darkseid vs that team of Avengers that CAP defeated.

it stood up to darkseid for a very, very brief amount of time. Batman was managing to move DS with his attacks, but they weren't hurting him. As a matter of fact, dark send casually ripped the back off of the armor.

The purpose behind the HellBat was to combat major threats on a Darkseid Level. It wasn't specifically made for Darkseid it was made so Bruce doesn't die when he's on the front lines with the Justice League.

No other member took as much h punishment from Darkseid as Batman did in the HellBat suit. He forefully moved Uxas with blast and was fast enough to react to Omega beams.

Based on what? Being above their bodies? How exactly did he combat them? Did he outright get physical or was he targeting weaknesses, mind control or erc.? I don't agree with offpanel showings because you don't know how exactly the fight was won. Unless you have scans of the actual fight, my stance stays the same on that.

I'm not going to break down the comics/appearances for you panel-by-panel. If you aren't familiar with CAP, then you probably shouldn't be discussing it in this thread.
