Possible Live action tv series Star Wars; good or bad

On ABC?

It has potential, but I don't know if they can pull it off. Star Wars is a huge universe, so it would cost them a lot of money to make sure the show was of good quality.

Not on network television. Well, Fox didn't do too badly with The Following and such, but I still think cable somewhere would suit it much better.

ON ABC?

It's prolly going to suck straight ass.

I think it's an awful idea. It won't get the budget it needs. I'd like to keep it contained to an animated show and the films. More isn't always better especially cable television.

I feel like any live action show would struggle to get the funding to do the SW aesthetic justice. mmm

Best stick to animation, yeah. We have live action spin off films, that's enough.

Which, incidentally, is why Lucas never went anywhere with his show.

Personally, I think they could get the necessary funding for a roughly 10 episode season on Netflix. Furthermore, they could use props and sets from the new movies to reduce costs.
