I always took it as this: their shields weren't 100% amidst the confusion, and they weren't prepared for an all-out attack, that required every bit of Starkiller's Force reserves to pull off.Even accounting all of that, tearing through their passive shields is still highly impressive no matter how we slice it.
While I am not doubting the sheer impressiveness of the feat, I just don't see Galen replicating that feat against these three at a whim to not get overwhelmed by sheer number and collective power, tbh.
