Blob vs Ares(Marvel)

This is none jobbering Blob at his best. Hand to hand only.

So Ares doesn't have his axe or gauntlets? (just making sure)

Blob should win. Doesn't need to brace for hits as he's virtually immovable, can control his density, has done shit like catching a punch from Colossus and slapped him, has fought the Hulk numerous times and actually did MUCH better than Ares, etc...

Ares is *supposed* to have a greater fighting skill, no other advantages.

I want marvel to upgrade Ares and bring and revamp or reintroduce Champion the way I see him lol.

Neither is likely to happen.

You just should be happy that Ares kicked Maestro in the balls recently. Alternate versions of the characters, I believe, but always something.

Ares was at one point going to be a Horsemen of Death instead of the Sentry but then Remender changed his mind.

Also that was 616 Ares. Because he remarks about Sentry killing him once.

How he made it back to the world of the living, then? Thought he was stuck in hell?

Don't want to argue since you're the one that actually read the comic, but sometimes we need more proof than that, the [unaltered] Siege event might've simply happened on alternate Earths, too. Just saying.

Didn't know that Rick R. originally considered using Ares. Interesting.

Yeah Ares got pulled from Elysium. They brought him back using that Iso-8 stuff.

Hard to keep up with who is resurrected and who got simply replaced.

Blob, every single time. Even if Ares has his axe, it makes no difference. The gauntlets may be a different story though.

Blob stomps. He could stand in one spot and allow Ares to hit him without any affect.

Ares will rip his eyes out and tunnel down his throat if that's what it takes.
