Yeah, it does look pretty stupid, definitely won't live up to MGS standards.

But even though it might not live up to that legend, it might be a hit.

Hideo's 100% correct, too.

Not at all. He had vampires, ghosts, and psychics in the games; zombies aren't a far leap at all. Heck, there basically were zombies in MGSV. Admittedly I get what he is saying but he could have certainly worded it better.
