The ancient Sith are more powerful than the Jedi on average, but I think numbers win this for this the Jedi.

Hm, I'm actually leaning the Sith.

It's 2v1 among force users (plus the Jedi with better backup), but a number of the Jedi aren't that strong-

Kenth Hamner, Cilghal, Ben Skywalker, Streen, Leia, maybe even Anakin. These are the ones who can't reliably account for half a sith lord of this power, or in some cases carry much weight at all.

And only Kyp and Jaina can do reasonably well without Jedi backup, everyone else absolutely needs a second.

That said, Battle Meld gives them a chance as does the superior number of backup combatants, but 2v1 odds isn't enough for numbers to be overwhelming.
