Luther Strode vs Bane

first round- pre Flashpoint.
second round- DCNU.

Bane is on Venom in both.

Luther wins.

Bane might be a bit stronger, but Luther is faster, more skilled, has better damage soak, and is still undoubtedly strong enough to do some serious damage to Bane.

Even strength is debateable.

Strode really burst through the barrier in the last arc.

Agreed. That's why I said 'might'. 😛

I'm just trying to give DCnU Bane some credit, because he does have some damned impressive showings...

He is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the DCnU.

Luther is just a totally different animal, imo.

It might have something to do with the art as well.

The artist really emphasizes impact and it makes all punches look extremely tough.

That said Luther's a tough kid to beat even if Bane did have a strength advantage. His precog being so strong that it can trump other Muscle Mystery users....
