While I wouldn't be surprised if Kylo is written to go down the redemption path just like Vader, I hope he doesn't, we already have Vader; we don't need Kylo (Vader's #1 Fanboy) to actually follow down the same path. Do something new and exciting, I say.

I think by the end of the trilogy he'll be redeemed. I could see him and Rey fighting Snoke together in episode 9. Or maybe he'll just overthrow Snoke and become the main bad guy. Who knows
