Wolverine Origins Stryker was well played. One of the few plus points in it.

Apocalypse and Shaw. Everyone else, meh.

Mckellen Magneto, Apocalypse, Stryker, and Shaw

maybe its they way kevin bacon portrayed shaw but he is my favorite and apoc.

yeah that was an awesome performance by Kevin Bacon. I'd say Magneto(old and young) and Sebastian Shaw.

Young Magneto is easily my favorite, with Old Stryker being a close second. Great characters. Shaw was pretty awesome too. Say what you want about these movies, but they do a good job with the villains. Apoc was epic too. Dude had great lines, and delivered them perfectly. Shame they didn't do more with him.

Yeah I hated they killed poc so early but at least they used a belivable character

Sebastian Shaw!!

Outside of Magneto, Shaw and maybe two of the three Stryker's, the villains haven't been very good imo.

Magneto is the best though, imo.

Brian Cox and the one from that Wolverine movie, because I like that actor.

The one in the new trilogy is all right, but he looks too much like Stifler for me to take him seriously.

Too bad the Future Sentinels werent a choice here...

They are easily the most lethal force we've seen in a comicbook movie to date (as pertains their combat effectiveness against heroic characters)...

Anyway, out of the choices available, young Magneto wins...

this thread is asking two different questions, who is my favorite and who is more impressive.

favorite: Mags
most impressive: Shaw

Apoc, despite being the most powerful, didn't accomplish anything. lol.

To be fair, how often have writers ever let Apocalypse 'accomplish' anything, in the comics and stuff in general? Compared to the shit jobber treatment he got a lot of at some point in the comics, he at least got to be a credible threat again with his movie, even if they wasted him long run.

But back to the topic of fav movie villains, I guess I would give McKellan Magneto a close 3rd place on my list after Apoc and Shaw (Fassbender typically plays the antihero side of the character rather than the villain side), and not sure who my favorite Stryker is between X2 and Origins (both were played well). Trask was meh.

Magneto obviously. I think he was played best in First Class.

My second favorite would be Sebastian Shaw.

In the original DOFP they weren't unstoppable... They just had a shitload of numbers.

Unless there's a different comic to the one I'm thinking of.

That also assumes Singer actually sat down and read the comics, which I don't believe.
