Pure physicals Thor is superior in strength and probably fist Striking (had to word that right), Aquaman is faster and has a pretty good damage soak so it will last a pretty long amount of time.
Aquaman still to this point hasn't done anything for me to suggest he'll put someone down like Thor on physicals alone (meaning with fist) Thor will feel each hit but I don't see him going down.

His recent scuffle with Superman say otherwise.

He never actually hurt Superman, and Superman wasn't trying to kill a member of the Justice League.
Superman came off phased from the hits I think it's a little unfair to say otherwise, the question is would Aquaman have ever been able to put Supes down though in the situation. Given from what we've seen we can't come to the inclusion that his hits would of done anymore than just make Superman grunt or fly off or check his chin.
Superman is faster and typically in regards to physicals stronger then Thor though.

It's Aquaman's book, so of course they're going to give him some service. However at the end Arthur was bleeding, and Supes didn't have a scratch. And while Superman is definitely faster than Thor, he didn't use any speed in that brawl.

Supes was making pain noises though and if he was waiding through Aquaman hits like you are trying to make it appear, he would have countered Author hit after the continuous punches Aquaman was landing on him.

He blitzed Aquaman into a tree and tried to also speed punch Arthur.
The title location of the fight is honestly irrelevant it all has to do with whose writing the fight more than anything.
Orm someone physically weaker then Arthur has given Superman trouble in Supes own book before as well as in JL Obsidian Age and Throne of Atlantis. This is honestly nothing new at all. It's just more out there cause its Supes.
I honestly agree with the all that does is cement the idea Aquaman can hurt them via physical strikes. It doesn't say he can put either down though in an unconscious state.
The best example could of been Throne of Atlantis is Johns showed us what happened to Superman after the moment Aquaman hit him but he didn't. It would be speculation to assume Supes was knocked out. It's possible but it's also possible that he was sent really far or that something came up that he had to attend to. The latter seems a little far out to me but the point is there's no really clear idea.
