Well you were referring to skill in your original post. And he shat on Vos on a DS nexus, and Quin was pre-prime.
Given how that opening is the equivalent of Maul and Kenobi on Naboo -- the Jedi is already defeated, so the arrogant Dark Sider leaves himself exposed for a final strike -- it is not a showing of skill by any means.
Would side with the team. By the end of the series, Vos remarks continuously that he feels a stronger connection to the Force and now has the mental clarity he's been seeking for the whole series. Fighting Bulq, he was "seeing red" and couldn't even hear anyone, and is presented as having an internal fight with the embodiment of his Dark Side version in his own mind while trying to take on Bulq at the same time. Not ideal circumstances for a Jedi.
Order 66!Vos is likely going to be much better than conflicted rage-filled Vos, who can already hang on against Sora Bulq for minutes. Add in the improvement and Tholme and I don't see Ventress winning.
