Gladiator Vs Orion

Claremont's faux Superman fights Kirby's wanna be Thor in two scenarios, both no prep, no BFR:

1. Forum fight
2. Slugfest

I'm assuming this isn't the berserker Orion you used in the OP pic..? Because he would slaughter Glads effortlessly.

If we're using average depictions, I'd still go with Orion... Though Glads could make a decent fight out of it.

If Gladiator uses his speed how does Orion land a punch?

Gladiator would likely start out strong, but since he's such a poor finisher, I'm giving Orion the win, but he'd have his hands full.

Gladiator has better striking strength but Orion has better versatility and overall consistency. Orion wins.

Orion wins. not much of a fight gladiator cant fight for crap. he got the stats but his fights are just to facepalm.

In the slugfest versatility doesn't matter. Gladiator is faster than Orion is. Versatility would matter more in the forum fight, but it also wouldn't negate the speed advantage either.

I guess it begs the question if he'd be allowed to use his speed in the slug fest. Since to me, in this context, "forum fight" just means he'll actually use his powers intelligently.

"Allowed" to use his speed? You got me feeling like h1 for second. The stips don't address speed, therefore his speed is in tact. Gladiator beats Orion just like Superman beats Orion.

I just don't see Glads shredding through Hal like a piece of fodder. Orion did.

i see this as being reasonably close. i'd also take orion, but for a slight majority. maybe 6-7/10. similar mentalities, similar physical abilities. AF and motherbox are solid offensive edges though. glads is faster, but orion is by no means slow. it would be a vicious battle.
