Street leveller in the zombie apocalypse

So assuming a zombie apocalypse had to break out, and you were given the opportunity to choose a street level character's powerset going into this world, who would you choose?

I know who I would pick, and the choice is fairly obvious IMO, but I am curious to see what other people say.

Well I don't know they can't fly the are only they basicly have peak human strength and really only have superhuman healing.

And according to some that puts them above characters like Superman.

Unlimited stamina, never tire, strength, speed, And I would have that indestructible shield for easy decapitations.
Leadership and strategic skills to lead a group of survivors.
Would also build stuff fairly quick. He was chopping wood like a champ in AOU

Wolverine, DP and Cap are all not street level IMO.

Even Spiderman is considered a street leveller by a lot of people. Though he is basically just on the cusp of being on the next level.

A step above? Any person who can survive getting torn apart by The Phoenix or able to survive getting shot to the head or can regrow limbs or can hold down a chopper with his bare hands are not street levelers in my book.

Street Level to me are characters like Night Owl, Batman, Daredevil, Punisher, Hawkeye, Arrow, Melinda May, etc.

And from that list, I'd go with Daredevil since his enhanced senses will let me know of approaching or hidden zombies.

Are these slow walking dead zombies or speedy worldwar z zombies?

Dawn of the Dead zombies, just to be difficult. 😄

Well, many people do consider those 3 street levellers. But I guess the definition varies from person to person. Daredevil would be a good pick though. Not only for the zombie thing, but the human lie detector skill is also handy when dealing with other people.

David Dunn from Unbreakable. Survived a trainwreck that killed every other person on-board. Never caught a cold implies he has an exceptional immune system (assuming the zombie symptoms are due to a contagion) . High level of strength.

Getting Wolverine's or DP's HF in a zombie apocalypse makes you pretty OP especially if it makes you immune to being a zombie.

Well, in a similar capacity, Luke Cage would be an ideal pick. Zombies would literally break their teeth biting you, and you'd be strong enough to casually tear them apart in return. Though I feel like Cage kind of pushes the definition of a street level character.

His senses are 100% superhuman...
