I dont think there's a difference, they were trained the same way.

There is an difference betweeen TCW and CoPL Nightsisters.

IIRC, CoPL Nightsisters don't even have Lightsabers...

Nightsisters don't carry around sabers unless they need them.

They usually carry around a type of blade, or magick-infused bow and arrows.

Mighella, when she fought Maul, only had a vibroblade.

CoPL Nightsisters were post Jedi, and discovered when Han won their planet in a card game. (This is the story where Han abducts Leia after accidentially shooting her with a mind control ray, and she isn't horrified by it, but instead turned on. Though Chewie offered to kick his ass for her. 🙂 )

They never had 'saber's, because they didn't know about Jedi/Sith, and thought their powers made them real witches..

The ones X2 fought on Dathomir all had sabers.

Their leader even had a Pikesaber, IIRC.
