Yes and no--it's a bit finicky. Video games are considered C-canon as well, but not everything about them is useable; namely, gameplay isn't canon.

Prima guides are the same in principle; it's official material, which means any included databanks and such are legitimate, but anything that exists purely for gameplay is non-canon. Obviously, the strategy guides deal almost exclusively in game mechanics and aren't going to be useable.
