I will play along, explain to me the meaning of just this one sentence then:

"Well, I tell you what, it helps in Ohio that we’ve got Democrats in charge of the machines. "

What part of this sentence are we failing to comprehend?

That's his usual thing "that's not what he said or you don't understand what he said."

The only other way I could even remotely see someone interpreting that is that Obama was taking a shot at Republicans. So in other words he was going "thankfully Democrats control these machines, because the Republicans cheat".

But that doesn't add up. Especially since he says at the end democrats do it too.

What am I not understanding here😂

I guess the idea is that Obama is obviously speaking strictly about the way the democrats behaved a long time ago and that he wasn't talking about the present day democrats.

Hes paid by HRC and has regular meetings with Obama, who already said democrats cheat and control the voting in the country.
