While Plagueis is canonically > Valkorion, but Tenebrae is likely as well.

Plagueis is not canonically superior to Valkorian. He is however canonically superior to Vitiate who is superior to his father.

Post limitations shedding Temebrae can make a holocron, all Plagueis could do was present an existential threat to the stability of the Force. Tenebrae's shedding was too much. The new ground realities has spoke.

I like Bane as a character and I thought his books were really good, which is why I chose to use him as my username. But I'm not a huge fanboy or anything, so when I say I don't support the use of back cover blurbs for Plagueis, that extends to Bane as well.
