However, after much travelling, he has gleaned new medicines (powers) from the pharmacy (edge of space and time).
He now sits in his hospital (Fortress of Solitude) administering new medicines (powers) to others.
The hospital (Fortress) itself gives him the necessary equipment (sun rays) needed to administer said medicines (powers).
However, there is nothing inherently special about this hospital (Fortress) or the equipment (rays). For the purposes of this thread, the doctor (Golden Superman) has travelled to Marvel, and using their equipment (the sun), he can still administer medicine (powers) to others.

The point that seems clear to me is that the Super-Sun reveals the latent 5D Imp powers in the Supermen bloodlines.

that being said all he is doing is charging people with yellow sun powers as if they were kryptonian right? so since these people are not from krypton they are not meant to hold in solar energy like SUPES so they have to charge more often.

I've just read that post and that's the way I am seeing it too.
I am fine with Superman using a Super-Sun in Marvel, whatever.
However that's the sunrays from the Super-Sun that empowers the members of the Dynasty. Without it there is no powers.
Solaris states himself that without it the Dynasty is finished.
