Yet the people in the ghetto manage to cause far more death and mayhem. Weird, right? I know the fact they commit more violent crimes than any other race in this country always has me scratching my head wondering why they are more likely to die at the hands of a cop.

Well dude how is murder a "petty" crime to you? 50% of all homicides. You can talk about school shootings all you want.
My mind is just blown though at the things you say and just how you say it's just petty stuff. Take Chicago where I live. It's not mostly "petty" crime. 5 people have been murdered since the weekend began already. That isn't an uncommon or particularly high number for Chicago, and the weekend isn't over yet.
In Chicago it's about 45% white people with about 35% black population. Guess who is responsible for over 75% of homicides here? Now, how many of those are unsolved? Around 70%. How much of that is black on black murder? 90%.
You want to talk about heinous crimes? A 15 yr. old black kid near me was set on fire in an alley and then shot in the face. We have had so many children killed by accidental gunfire between gangs. We've also had kids killed by gangs on purpose in order to send a message to the kids gang banging parents. To see you talking about us not wanting to admit to heinous crimes is..I just don't even know.
I've nearly given up on this city by this point, and that's a shame because there are a lot of great parts.
