The power growth from pre-Plagueis death to DE Sidious is probably very large.

Haha, because numbers are overrated and the gap between Luke and the pair is sufficiently large that Luke can control the flow of the fight, and eventually dispatch one of them.

They could engage him in close quarters, but Dooku was handling TCW Anakin and Obi Wan just fine, and I see this in a similar light. And I'm not sure if either could do much to him in the Force.
