He need only survive the first folly before concealing his presence through whatever means.

If we take Saxtonian calcs for turbolasers (.i.e. gigatons-teratons), concealing his presence might not do that much.

If you are referring to the radius of the impacts, I'm sure he can outrun them. But I reckon the confusion caused by him vanishing will provide all the time he'd need.
