His strength and speed remains unchanged and is far beyond any meta character. He still has his planetary level stats. I remember Young Thor fighting a Black Hulk in a planetary wide battle and punching him through the Earth very recently. With his stats and skill he'd be a hectic fight for any High Herald and if they aren't careful deadly. His lighting can still significantly hurt beings as tough as Superman or Hulk and he has a weapon that can hack almost anyone to pieces.
I have to read the new issue, I'm confused as to why he lacks so much confidence and fighting ability. He was upset for the first few weeks over losing Mjolnir but he got over it quickly and was very effective and seen as an Avengers power house on a team with Hyperion, StarBrand etc. and stalemates Female Thor in her own book etc.
He quietly racked up a lot of nice showings that were overshadowed by all the Avengers stuff.
