Also this just gets more bizarre and hypocritical by the minute. People are blaming Trumps win on racism and all this stuff, and racism was one of the things the left criticized him about a lot.
But then a lot of them have taken on a "f*ck white people" attitude since Clinton lost lol. I've seen the tweets of people saying stuff like that, saying white people need to die, etc. It seems white women are especially hated for daring to have minds of their own. I have seen more than one comment where they are going "oh one day you are going to need go to another country just to get an abortion or go to some seedy back alley and get an illegal abortion". But if they were a Trump supporter there is every chance they are pro life lol.
I'm genuinely curious how long it's going to take for people to realize the way they are acting is just serving to make them look worse. It's almost like they decided "if you can't beat them, join them" and just decided to emulate all the bad behavior they'd accused Trump and his supporters of.
Even a decent portion of the media seems to be resentful of Trump voters, as if we are the ones who manipulated and lied to people about this election. That's like a date rapist resenting a potential victim because for some reason the roofie didn't cause her to lose consciousness.
Yeah, I also made this comment in another thread, but I feel like Trump is the very antithesis of being politically correct. I think the PC culture in this country is part of the reason people decided to come out and vote for Trump. I think some are tired of it and they saw in Trump a way to potentially shatter this hold political correctness has on this country.
So I'm not really sure if it's wise for people to say this stuff doesn't truly matter.

Okay so we have this letter from Lena Dunham that is just hilarious.

You can see the disconnect from reality in various parts. Some of my favorite parts:
"I woke up on Election Day like a bride: rosy, thrilled, a little controlling about just how MY perfect day would be spent."
Yes you read that right..it was HER perfect day. It's not about the county, it's about talentless feminists.
"After working on the Clinton campaign for eighteen months, I was ready to celebrate, and sure that by nightfall I'd be knocking back glasses of champagne and creating a story to tell my unborn children"
Oh my god I feel so so very bad for her unborn child!
"So on Tuesday — Jesus, it's almost embarrassing to remember — I smugly selected a baby-blue sweater with a not-so-subtle pussy motif and headed to vote with my boyfriend, smiling at the elderly socialists on my block like it was Sesame Street. I packed my HRC 2016 memorabilia into a brown box with my I VOTED sticker smacked on top."
Heh, do I even need to say anything? I don't think I need to say anything to this. It speaks for itself. Oh I will say one thing: Holy shit her boyfriend must hate himself so very much.
"I'd been traveling the country for the last few weeks, in swing states like North Carolina and Colorado. While I'd dealt with a few irritating email questions (those ****ing emails, as if they were a worthy corollary to fraud and sexual assault),"
Ah yes "those f*cking emails". Another person who thinks this was about a server and not about lies and corruption.
"Watching the numbers in Florida, I touched my face and realized I was crying. "Can we please go home?" I said to my boyfriend. I could tell he was having trouble breathing, and I could feel my chin breaking into hives. Another woman showed me her matching hive, hidden by fresh concealer."
Words fail me.
"At home I got in the shower and began to cry even harder. My boyfriend, who had already wept, watched me as I mumbled incoherently, clutching myself. "It wasn't supposed to go this way. It was supposed to be her job. She worked her whole life for the job. It's her job."
At this point I had to just stop reading because I feel like I'm in legit danger of a laughter induced stroke.
