Think you might have these 2 the wrong way around.

Author of the SOD comics talking about Maul:

"His power isn’t on Vader’s level, true, or even on Count Dooku’s level — but that never stops him. He stands alongside the Sith Lords only by sheer force of will."

lol no. Look at Vader in rebels and how he moved around clunkily with Tano. The clown in legends at least was able to contend with Maul, but his canon showings highlight his mobility flaw no doubt.

Seems nearly like Canon Vader isn't stated to be > Tyranus as duelist mmm

In canon, Vader is stated to be the most powerful sith

Wat

The most skilled, not the most powerful, as far as I am aware. Or does it give a new quote?

I don't have the exact quote but it's something along the lines of saying Kylo Ren comes from the bloodline of the most powerful Jedi and Sith.

It could be argued that it's referring to raw power

Could be (in fact, likely) referring to pre-suit Vader, who was still a Sith.

It just means he came from Anakin Skywalker - the most powerful Force user ever, who was both Jedi and Sith.

It's not referring to specific incarnations, lol.

And may his ****ing powerful son 👆

👆 Most reasonable explanation.

Not necessarily. Dooku in Canon hasn't shown a particular susceptibility to strength. It wasn't really the case in Legends either (despite what people claim), but in Canon, since the films are the only canon iterations of the Saga, you have him matching Yoda/Anakin in saberlocks for 10+ seconds. Heck, he actually had Anakin on the backfoot in the saberlock until Anakin became enraged. Vader's strength won't be a particularly big problem.

Dooku contending with Obi-Wan/Anakin and Yoda is also beyond any of Vader's dueling feats.

Well Vader is Anakin, but more powerful in the Force (in canon), and with Grievous type machine strength to boot. So that doesn't make much sense.

In terms of duelling feats, depends how much Anakin's feat count for Vader. But we know even as Machine Vader, he's owned Kanan one handed, and we also know he's overpowered Filoni's pet powerhouse.

The website disagrees.

Owning Kanan isn't that great. Overpowering Ahsoka on a potential nexus is good but not beyond Dooku's showings.

Vader in all of them.

Vader is better than Dooku regardless of the continuity.

I'm not convinced it does. Been over that with Beni already.

Aside from Mortis, going by feats, Vader is almost definitely more powerful than he was as Anakin- crushing an AT-AT, redirecting torpedoes from X-Wings, and crushing X-Wings.

It was the level of ownage over Kanan that was impressive.

Bear in mind Maul couldn't overpower her. Not being "beyond" Dooku's showings is still being on par with him in Sabers, but that still makes Vader > Dooku in an all out.
